Under Your Majesty’s strong leadership, Brunei demonstrated its resilience and unity through the COVID-19 pandemic, and played a critical role as the ASEAN Chair in navigating the region’s response to the pandemic and other challenges. As the world adapts to the post-pandemic normal, I am confident that Brunei will emerge stronger than ever.

Singapore and Brunei share a special relationship. Our bilateral cooperation remains strong in many sectors, and is bound by deep trust and a common desire to bring our peoples closer together. I look forward to further strengthening our bilateral ties.
